Purpose built apartments are a focus of our future growth plans, we are planning on continuing to seek out great locations and suitable projects in the coming years. PK is focused on a long term vision in this asset class with the majority of our buildings being added to our growing rental portfolio. We constantly look at ways to grow within our industry. With every new project we are consistently improving our energy efficiency while keeping up with new technology, amenity spaces and build forms that can improve the living experience for all of our tenants.
PK completed its first purpose built apartment complex in 2013. During the past 10 years we have completed over 1200 rental units in Alberta and Saskatchewan. We are very excited for our first venture in B.C. Starting in 2022!
Presently, we have 760 units under construction and 758 more slated to start in the next 8 months.
